Noosa is certainly having its moment in the sun.

Last week a property at Teewah Beach sold for $10.5 million, a record price.
The property has 470m of beach frontage and views over Noosa's five bay.

This week a sale of a Wyuna Drive property at $11.9 million toppled that record. But even this record is not set to last with fresh interest in Pat Rafters $18 million Sunshine Beach home.

Local agents report that Europeans and interstate buyers are attracted to the high quality and safe environment.
With the natural assets of beaches, lakes, river, restaurants and shopping there is something for everyone.

Tom Offermann , local agent said" its not just the prestige properties that buyers are targeting, there are good opportunities at all price levels".
He said "the top performing suburbs were Noosaville, Noosa Heads, Little Cove and Sunshine Beach."

Although once a sleepy, almost private small township, Pomona now boasts some very affordable options for both purchase & rental. As an example, a small acreage, less than 5 minutes from the train station, with sheds and an immaculate country residence, with sheds, for under $500,000.

On the rental side, a 3 bed, 1 bath home on 1 acre, only minutes to town and approved for pets, is available to let at $350 per week.
